It is the 82nd biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 422,160 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season, down -1% from that of the 2023-2024 season. The Charleston-Huntington DMA comprises 32 counties across three states, namely, Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Lawrence, Lewis, Martin, and Pike, KY; Gallia, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Scioto, and Vinton, OH; and Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Mason, Mingo, Nicholas, Putnam, Roane, Wayne, and Wirt, WV.
