The Charlotte, NC designated market area (DMA) is a U.S. television market serving the people in the state of North Carolina. It is the 21st biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 1,382,020 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season, up +1% from that of the 2023-2024 season. The Charlotte DMA comprises 22 counties across two states, namely, Alexander, Anson, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Richmond, Rowan, Stanly, Union, and Watauga, NC; and Chester, Chesterfield, Lancaster, and York, SC.
