It is the 60th biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 584,100 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season, up +1% from that of the 2023-2024 season. The Knoxville DMA comprises 22 counties across two states, namely, Bell, Harlan, and McCreary, KY; and Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Cumberland, Fentress, Grainger, Hamblen, Hancock, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union, TN.
