It is the second biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 5,835,790 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season, down -1% from that of the 2023-2024 season. The Los Angeles DMA comprises nine counties across two states, namely, Inyo, Kern East, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside East, Riverside West, San Bernardino, and Ventura, CA; and Esmeralda, NV.
