It is the 49th biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 702,310 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season, down -1% from that of the 2023-2024 season. The Louisville DMA comprises 29 counties across two states, namely, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Orange, Scott, and Washington, IN; and Adair, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Carroll, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Taylor, Trimble, and Washington, KY.
