It is the 50th biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 672,790 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season. The New Orleans DMA comprises 14 counties across two states, namely, Jefferson, LaFourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, and Washington, LA; and Hancock, and Pearl River, MS.
