It is the 27th biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 1,167,890 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season. The Pittsburgh DMA comprises 16 counties across three states, namely, Garrett, MD; Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Venango, Washington, and Westmoreland, PA; and Monongalia, and Preston, WV.
