The Washington, DC (Hagerstown, MD) designated market area (DMA) is a U.S. television market serving the people in the states of District of Columbia and Maryland. It is the eighth biggest media market by size in the United States, with a total population of 2,630,640 TV households as of the 2024-2025 television season, up +2% from that of the 2023-2024 season. The Washington-Hagerstown DMA comprises 40 counties across five states, namely, District of Columbia, DC; Allegany, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince Georges, St.Marys, and Washington, MD; Fulton, PA; Alexandria City, Arlington, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fairfax City, Falls Church City, Fauquier, Frederick, Fredericksburg City, King George, Loudoun, Manassas City, Manassas Park City, Page, Prince William, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Warren, Westmoreland, and Winchester City, VA; and Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Mineral, and Morgan, WV.
