im a retired newspaper journalist. i once defended jake as a decent reporter, so far as CNN journalism goes. and now im eating crow. Jake, u already have yr own show. u dont need to grand stand because, for one, its not growing yr base. 600 thousand viewers plus or minus. cartoon networks beat u in the same time slot. go back to what helped u get u there: just the facts ma’am. yr audience has shown they dont care about yr “conclusions.” report the facts and allow us to draw our own conclusions.

Agreed. I use to like Jake Tapper's show. One of the best that I watched, now I can't stand to watch him. He showed his demon side when he wrote about Joe Biden. I didn't buy the book, and I won't buy the book. I don't watch Fox news for their trashy lying talk about Biden, and Jake Tapper fits in that category as Fox news. I turn on CNN to hear the news, I don't need to be told about a former presidents cognitive decline. I don't care and that doesn't affect me now.

Jake Tapper is one of the few male broadcasters on CNN who have a PERSONALITY.
This makes him a wee bit more watchable than the others.

What news is he giving you when he's reporting your former presidents cognitive ability. Does that affect your life now? If he wants to report about someone';s cognitive ability, he should report on your current presidents as he's the one making decisions in your life. I have no problem with Tapper reporting about Biden, but he has a free platform and decided to NOT report it so he could sell a book instead of giving you that news for free, which makes me think this is about selling a book and nothing more.
