No one will ever be as effective as Tony Snow was when he started the show (best political interviewer ever, or at least on par with Tim Russert), but Shannon is a big step up from Chris Wallace. Her ability to challenge the people she's interviewing of both parties is excellent. Not with gotcha nonsense, like Wallace tried to do, but with probing questions on the facts they presented to help the audience better understand the issue.
Unlike Wallace and most of the other morning show hosts, she's a trained attorney, so quite a bit smarter and better equipped to push back when they try to spin or provide BS.
I came here trying to understand if the ratings for this show reflect just the ratings for Fox broadcast affiliates, just Fox News Channel, or both. That's still not clear to me. This is the only Fow News program that originally airs on Fox broadcast stations (Sunday mornings Eastern time, exact time varies by station) before re-airing a few hours later on FNC (2pm Eastern time). Do these numbers include both runs?

These ratings are for the original Fox national broadcast affiliates only. The reruns are not included. The ratings for the Fox News airing can be found on the Fox News page. Also reruns not included. Adding the two numbers will give you the total original live national audience of both cable and broadcast.

So glad they took her off the night show I rarely watch Fox News Sunday with her as host . I see who the guest is then I change channel if l don't care about the guest . I don't like her format and I can't stand her voice she shouldn't even be talking on TV. Think she's cute and funny she's not either. She reads everything she gets out of the newspaper and reads an article and lets her guests do all the work. She lets everybody talk, usually, that's more than Sean Hannity does.lol.
