Love this show. Intense, raw and edge of the seat challenges. Fingers crossed there's another season. Great to see professional (or former) professional athletes compete alongside actors and entertainers. Shows that mental fortitude and tenacity are as important as physical stature.
I thought the show was intense from start to finish. I thought the challenges were tough also. I myself liked the SAS instructor, loud concise and definitely knew his job. The other instructors were quite good also and brought a broad knowledge from past special forces training. From Navy Seal to Marine Recon to British SAB, SAS I found quite interesting. The region that the show was taped in was outstanding. The interrogator's were intense as they should be. Only if the viewers realized how important that portion of training is... The key word is survival which the two contestants at the end did. They played a brilliant game. Being retired military myself I enjoyed it I hope the average civilian did too. Wish Mike Piazza would of won being he was one of the best catchers in baseball. See you next season!!!
I started out liking this program but lately not so much. The lead Maniac (that's how he behaves) makes the guy from Hell's Kitchen look like a saint. In the most recent vehicle evasion - scene he behaved like a pompass ass - like he was auditioning for the WWF. I found myself wishing that Danny Amandola would knock him on his ass. I'm in my 70's, served in the Military, Viet Nam and I never encountered a moron like that in four years. I'll possibly watch the remaining segments - but these so called instructors (more like professional screamers) are kind of ruining the program. No one likes an A-Hole. Not one drill instructor I ever had )in the 60;s) ever behaved that badly
