I have never liked him.., snobby Brit who looked down on US but, became a citizen and still looks down on it.., WB/HBO's stock holders need to look at return on investment. Is this DEI vanity Project worth its cost or in the loss of potential additional customers. Understand CORP Execs like him but does he have to be front and center of every promo. Every sign in there it is.., between each show bam there it is, another promo for him. Wish there was a way to use WB?HBO and block him? Its not like regular tv where you can just change the channel to avoid the garbage. It is just in your face 24/7 whether you want him or not.., If I don't watch his show why is he and shows like his the top suggestions for me. Not a good algorithm for bottom line.

I like John Oliver, he’s funny, he educates his audience, & he always shows evidence to what he’s talking about. What’s not to like about that?

He tells the story of a typical liberal dumbass point of view who doesn’t know what is real. He tells false news about what is truly going on to fit HIS schedule. Which is a typical liberal who wouldn’t know the truth if it him in the ass. I will never watch this show. I cannot even find anything funny. A friend of mine family member was killed by an illegal and yet he supports it.

A MAGA person accusing others of being dumb and not being able to see reality? Now that's some peak Dunning-Krueger activity right there. Belonging to a literal cult where you'll trust any information from any random goon on social media no matter how outlandish as long as it adheres to the rigid worship of your cult leader is the definition of living in a fantasy world. The sad part is you choose to be brainwashed unlike people in countries like North Korea.

While I understand most of almost all of you are locked in your self-imposed propaganda bubbles, take a moment and reminisces about every test or metric you've ever partaken in that's gauged your intelligence or education attainment (ie grades, IQ, standardized tests, entrance exams, work aptitude tests, etc.). I realize that like everything else in your fake reality you've come to have a false impression of your own intelligence but as you're looking back and remembering the metrics that show conclusively just how much of an intellectual failure you think to yourself if you're really the best person to be gauging the validity of information. On top of that, maybe you can have an epiphany on just how ridiculous it sounds when you attempt to call others who haven't subscribed to your cult "dumbasses" when it's so patently obvious how far gone most of your minds are.

It's interesting how the other HBO show, Bill Maher, has almost double Oliver's viewership every week.
I get Oliver is purposely oriented towards a politically far left progressive audience while Bill fills the more traditional liberal audience, but I wonder if Oliver would be better served toning some rhetoric down sometimes.
He is funny though

Are all the only shows I watch HBO Max,
I like Fear thy neighbor, Ricky & Morty, Old episodes of HBO One Night Stand & justice league tas 2003-2004,
But I also want to see them bring back
ERIC ANDRE, SPACE GHOST, DENNIS MILLER, CHECK IT OUT & CONAN,
Maybe perhaps give Jay Leno a more Sit-down Show as well
