How many reruns can a person take? Every time I turn on Magnolia network to watch a show it's a rerun! I don't even bother to watch their new shows as I can watch the same type of programming on Create tv, only with better content and on-air personalities. Yes the commercials are obnoxious, too many and always the same. What happened to seasons 1-4 of Maine cabin masters? Barnwood builders got shoved off to the side like an unwanted stepchild. Rating will show that this network is crashing. Great job Joanna and Chip! You deserve an award.

Chip and joana were folksy and relatable.i say were because now they have become more fake and artificial than sugar sweetner.they are way to overexposed..viewers have totally tired of them and low ratings prove it.their over the top take over of Waco Texas is creepy...way to much magnolia everything..its like an artificial thrown to show off how great they are.genuine relatable people don't built fake empires to show off all their glory.they let their fame to become their destruction..as they are no longer relatable and more interested in selling cheap foreign made goods destroying real local craftman.magnolia network will collapse and close once the small tv viewership realizes it's all just a network to promote more of the gaines.its all about them..

Good grief...how many times can fixer upper air? Agree with others...there store is full of merchandise not made in the USA. And really....no Salvage Dawgs?????? So sad so many beloved shows got dumped for fixer upper reruns.
Love Ben and Erin on hometown!!! Real people!

First, it took too long for Magnolia to launch. They excitement over when the network would launch started fading and was dragged out for more than a year. (Yes, I know COVID had a lot to do with that.)

Meanwhile, Ben and Erin on "Home Town" burst on the scene, and are the anti-Chip and Jo; Ben is folksy and humble, while Chip is often portrayed as a goofball nut case – and then "Hey, I get to throw out the first pitch at a Rangers game! Hey, I get to ride in a jet! Hey, look at me getting a Jeep for my birthday!" while Joanna seems to be focused on building the Magnolia Empire – which is fine.

But after a while, the thing that made "Fixer Upper" fun to watch (taking the worst house in the best neighborhood and making it a showplace) has been obscured by all the other things: a bakery, a restaurant, a complex of shops, a bed-and-breakfast, a celebration of what you've built ... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I'd rather watch the fifth rerun of "Home Town" than almost anything* on Magnolia.

* – I like Andrew Zimmern's shows on The Mag.

Chip, hand over your man card.
Bring back DIY shows. Happy Maine Cabin Masters is still running!
It’s the only reason to turn on magnolia channel.

I'm terribly exhausted by the Gaines. Initially, they were novel and cute. Now, they've just maintained their comic shtick a bit too long. She is not a cook. He is no longer amusing. They recycle other people's ideas and take credit for them as though they are single-handedly thinking up all these "great" new inventions. In addition, their licensing of cheap, foreign-made products undercuts all the small U.S. makers they supposedly want to celebrate. No thanks, Chip and JoJo. Please return to your regional real estate gig, take your sister Mikey, and allow DIY to return to its previous format. Long live Maine Cabin Masters and Barnwood Builders!

I have been reading all the reviews about putting the DIY channel back but if jo and chip don't have a TV to see there crappy channel for them self so what makes everyone think that they even read the reviews I don't think they do

If you're gonna have D I Y channel Then have D I Y channel don't be putting a cooking show that belongs on the cooking network don't be putting the feel feel good lovey lovey show that belongs on the Oprah channel but if your going to have a D Y I channel then have a D Y I channel
This is why I stopped watching the channel because of all the cooking and all the chip and Joanne it's all about them and not thinking about anyone else

I agree with the previous comments. Maine cabin masters is great most of the new programs are just boring after a few minutes. Chip and Joanna have said they don’t even own a television so that’s probably why the programs suck so bad.they are clueless.

The Gaines lost me as a viewer when Chip said in one of their early shows on DIY that “it’s just me and JoJo fighting back to back against the world.” That was all i needed to hear to make my mind up that they thought they were doing “it” despite the world being against them. I thought it was kind of a misplaced comment because it was probably in their second season. I then saw they were going to launch their own network and i knew i made the right choice because their show previews are a train wreck. They are trying to be the lovely couple from Mississippi who are very personable and real. They aren’t acting, they aren’t trying to be something they’re not. I can’t believe DIY turned itself into a channel where 90% of the shows are unwatchable. The best is the Maine Cabin Masters, and the Craftsman isn’t half bad. DIY should cut its losses and scrap what they’ve done and get back to the shows that made that channel. Cooking shows? Really? That’s what the food Network is for. They might as well start a dating show too.
