Andrea Mitchell is difficult to watch and listen to. She is not very smart and lacks class. Also she is too biased and self centered to be a very good journalist. Never understood why she has been on air for so long. Very overrated. Mediocre at best

Well she is not retiring but leaving the anchor chair but not until after the inauguration. MSNBC took her advice and they hired Welker to anchor Meet the Press, Bad choice. So...she better not have a hand on who should take over that chair. My choices? Bring back Chris Matthews. He also has the foreign affairs chops.
If that doesn't work, Hallie Jackson...cannot believe they buried her into some pod cast no one really watches. Next? Katy Tur, but...she fumbles a lot and mispronounces but frankly she (and Hallie Jackson) are the only 2 that don't have screeching, nasal voices. Some days Tur reminds me of Diane Sawyer. And DO NOT even think about Chris Jansing...loud, talks too long, just takes over like she wants to jump through your TV. and when on a panel with other anchors is a bully. Am watching her now...just awful. And never consider Sanders. To me, chair needs someone classy. So..Matthews, Jackson, Tur. OR pay Amanpoor millions to leave CNN which she won't do..

I have begun turning Andrea off. She constantly touts HER career. Last week she talked about some high level Israeli official texting her while she was on air. She asks questions, then pauses, confusing the answerer and interrupting when they begin their response. Please ask her to retire. Too difficult to watch!

Andrea Mitchell, time to go! Speech very difficult to listen to her hesitation and pauses. Isn’t she ready for retirement? Changing to another news broadcast is due to Mitchell’s petty questions that is a poor reflection of a good journalist interviewer. Tired at looming at her aging profile. Give her an attractive retirement package and get a younger anchor who is better at reading the news. Spare us much more time with Andrea, please!

7/26/2024, 12:45 pm...she just called Trump, the Orange Jesus, President not once but twice...get a grip Andrea, he is a former, he is not President. PLEASE msnbc get someone else in this Noon space, and hopefully NOT Chris Jansing who she has been paired with lately...need a smart foreign relations anchor that doesn't have to rely on her old fogies.

Andrea, the gasping has to stop. The mumbles, the deer in head lights look. Rashida: get someone else in there with foreign policy chops and do not choose long term MSNBC anchors. Not Tur. Not anyone you currently have on payroll. Enough Unwatchable.Ratings only go up when she isn't there.

4/9/2024: It gets worse every day, now there is gasping for breath? PLEASE, stop making me go to CNN as you are losing viewers...have you done any "peer reviews" on her performance? I get it she has been there for ages, and moving her to another venue would look like ageism or a female being moved...but if you are smart, you will make your move now. I get it her husband Alan is even more elderly, but how about moving her to do nothing but overseas reporting? OR assign her to the WH Press crew?

I just find it painful to watch Andrea Mitchell. I find myself yelling at the TV for her to quit talking after asking a question. I frequently go do something else or watch a recorded program when she comes on. I think she is very knowledgeable. Please use her in another capacity.

Well, again, she has that dis-information BiBi so called advisor Regev on. She just lets him go on and on with no comeback from her. She is the ONLY anchor on MSNBC that has this guy on her show. Is this her future boyfriend? He needs to go and so does she. How much torture, Rashida, are you going to put us through? Give her a gold medal or watch and just be done with it. You are losing viewers.

I have to agree with all those who say Andrea Mitchell has got to go. She may be useful traveling with Secretary Blinken or doing foreign affairs segments, but as an anchor she is a disaster. She pauses so long in her sentences it is unnerving, she giggles inappropriately, she can't manage the beamed-in guests' sequencing -- I could go on and on. With so many capable younger people on the network who are so much better, why is she kept on?
