Today, 9/19, 10am. Well, Mitchell is on a panel with 2 other people in the studio. The 2 others have very clear audio, Mitchell audio as usual is garbled, mummbly as ever. I did notice the other 2 mikes are lower on their chests, yet Mitchell's is right close to her throat? Is that the problem? But that doesn't help the Mitchell befuddlements. Am changing over to C-SPAN, can't take it.

Today, 8/29, Andrea has that crazy GQP Vivek on to debate. STOP, JUST STOP having her try to duke it out with these creatures! She has no dukes. Bad move by MSNBC. Get someone like Hassan who would have him for lunch. Mitchell just lost. Vivek won.

Just want to second the motion. Andrea has had the slow hesitant speech for awhile. I’m 79, so I know the words don’t come as easily as you age. Time to go. Actually, past time to go. Let me add. If Ana Cabrera can’t take on combative guests, she is worthless too. She appears to be reading script in her questions, and always to friendly guests.

About Cabrera: and lately last week she rudely tells distinguished guests to "move on" due to time limitations? Not good. If she kept her own diatribes short, there would be time enough to hear their opinions. I was shocked to see her do that.

Like many others of her generation, it is long past time for Andrea to retire and let younger generations have their chance to take over.
Obviously, there was a time when her connections and access to people in power and institutions was a benefit to her and MSNBC. Now, too often, she relies on that old institutional thinking from long ago to inform her perspectives and guild her guest choices and it has become a liability.
We know it is hard to have conversations with people and broach the subject that it is time to retire, but her decline has become more than evident at this point.

It is so difficult to listen to her speak and report. Love her but its time to retire.

So happy to read these comments regarding Andrea Mitchell. I thought it was me. She needs to retire. As much as I like MSNBC, I have been switching to CNN during her daily show. Her speech and hesitations is agonizing to watch. There is a myriad of female journalists who could replace her.

well, today 7/26 she has another GQP interview: Christie. So she sits there like a fricking stone with no push back about Hunter Biden case. Just swallowing it all. MSNBC just stop having her or anyone else on your day time schedule doing this. You need someone like Wallace or even Melber to do the interviews. You are losing viewers big time. And the hemming and hawing, sighing gets worse every day. PLEASE move Mitchell. How about offering Amanpour a salary she can't refuse? Has more foreign affairs creds than Mitchell.

ok, so her rating has gone up BUT since the Trump indictment MSNBC has changed their format: joining up Balera whatever and Carbona for 2 hours 10-12. Then at 12, Mitchell's hour, now has 2-3 other anchors on a panel. The first one? Mitchell looked very unhappy. AND the usual hem, haws, gasps, bad microphone which is only her, everyone else is clear. Her usual performance. Awful. Her contract has to be in force until she is on her death bed. The higher ratings are due to this new format and the indictment. It is painful.
We have had to turn to CNN for her 9am (west coast) slot. The umms, ahhhs, you knows are painful to listen to. Her timing is way off on virtual interviews. Nothing personal and she is very knowledgeable, but I am sure I would not have passed high school speech class if I did that. She must have an iron clad contract.
