Well, now I know where this anchor Jose gets his "priestly, Rabbi" type of speaking...watched his GQP brother who is a Rep in the House of Clowns on the House floor discussing the recent aid to Israel, Pacific, Ukraine. They BOTH have this speech thing and mannerisms going on and the same head antics! You could have put the Jose head on the body of the brother and could not tell the difference. Please, Rashida, re-think this. And pairing him with screechy Ana doesn't work either.

Jose Diaz-Balart rating seems suspicious as it is one of the worst program both in anchoring and in presentation of the news content. Diversity should not be a weakness for MSNBC in it's efforts to becoming attractive to viewers. It should be a strength if you focus on hiring anchors with knowledge as well as ability to make good presentation. Most of all one should have best interviewing skills. Unfortunately, MSNBC has failed to consider these criteria in continuing with Jose Balart.

10/20, 11:23 am ET...they have again paired him with Cabera and during this live important 3rd vote. Well, am now at CNN where the live House with vote tallies is full screen and anchors' sound only in the backgroung. Over at MSNBC? Anchors full face not even a split screen. I want to see the chamber, not MSANBC anchors...MSNBC you need a total revamp. C-SPAN is even better. Who in god's name is producing this carp at MSNBC? No wonder they are losing people. And I only watch CNN when MSNBC continues to pitch mumbling Mitchell and on the weekends to watch Jim Acosta to get away from screaming Symone. .

Listening to him is like listening to your priest or rabbi. Waaaay too much touchy feely. I want to hear the news of the day not go to confession.

I think Jose Diaz-Balart would be a much more popular TV host if he called his show "The Joe Balart Show."

JD-B is but another color crayon in Rashida Jones' racial crayon box. MSNBC saves the Hispanic stories of the day for him to report on so that he can pronounce the names correctly instead of using the Anglicized pronunciation. Laughed my ass off reading Sal's post, he does indeed love to tell you his name.

Jose Diaz-Balart has to be the worse show on MSNBC. He seems like he’s acting instead of reporting the news, especially when he’s in the field. I wish the network could replace him with another Latino host.

Jose Diaz-Balart Reports has to be the worst news reporting show on air in my opinion. He basicaly seems to read the news as if reading a movie script. He does not really engage his guests in conversation and he repeats his name too, too many times. He seems to lack real knowledge of politics and world events. Show should be cancelled.

Jose Diaz-Balart reads his script like a D- actor. I recommend cancelling his show. Painful to watch. I usually shut down the TV for his hour long attack on the news.
