Shame on you MSNBC for firing Matthew Dowd. His statement on Charlie Kirk's death was DEAD ON! Dowd said exactly what I thought when "Why?" was asked. Well...i thought the same as Matthew did. He was right!

What are your top 5 comment's you found offensive made by Charlie Kirk?

1. Questioning the Competence of Black Pilots and Professionals:

Comment: "If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like, boy, I hope he's qualified." (January 2024)

Related Comment: "If I'm dealing with somebody in customer service who's a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because of affirmative action?" (January 2024)

These statements have been widely condemned as racist and an attack on Black Americans in professional roles.

2. Attacking the Civil Rights Movement and Legislation:

Comment: "We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s." (December 2023)

Related Comment: He also referred to Martin Luther King Jr. as "awful" and "not a good person."

He argued the Civil Rights Act led to a "permanent DEI-type bureaucracy," an argument that drew immediate and strong criticism for opposing fundamental anti-discrimination laws.

3. Promoting the "Great Replacement" Conspiracy Theory:

Comment: "The great replacement strategy, which is well under way every single day in our southern border, is a strategy to replace white rural America with something different." (March 2024)

Related Comment: "The American Democrat party... love it when America becomes less white." (March 2024)

The "Great Replacement" theory is a white nationalist conspiracy theory that alleges a deliberate effort to diminish the influence of white people.

4. Advocating for Extreme Measures Against Gender-Affirming Care:

Comment: "We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately." (April 2024)

This statement was widely criticized for invoking the imagery of Nazi war crime trials against medical professionals providing care to transgender individuals.

5. Stating that Gun Deaths are a "Prudent" Cost of the Second Amendment:

Comment: "I think it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the second amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational." (April 2023)

This comment, made while discussing gun rights, was met with backlash for suggesting that gun violence and fatalities are an acceptable trade-off for the constitutional right to bear arms.

ethan can't defend trump (who could?) so his only defense is fawning over him like the cult member trump demands. trump who has destroyed the world economy, created animosity around the world with ALL OF OUR ALLIES, tried to steal Canada, Greenland, Panama Canal,. trashed our judges and the Supreme Court, said he can do anything he wants and doesn't give a sht what the Supreme Court says, has refused to honor his oath to the Constitution and Ethan says I"M the one who is deranged. lol

I am stunned that Joy Reid and Alex Wagner have been fired from their shows on MSNBC. Ms. Reid gave us information delivered with integrity and emotion. She believes in what she reports. She is also the embodiment of her name, Joy. No matter how grim the topics, she found a way to bring joy into the moment. She treats her guests with respect, even if the interview is confrontational.
Alex Wagner brings a calm and easy-going spirit to her well-researched, factual reporting. She has a good rapport with her guests that makes her interviewing seem effortless. In my household, both of these remarkable women will be missed. They both deserved better treatment.
MSNBC helped my family survive the first trump administration and we were looking forward to their help in guiding us through this one. I do not believe any amount of accurate reporting will change the fact that we are headed into a monarchy (oligarchy, dictatorship, or whatever authoritarian regime this turns out to be), but at least with trusted anchors at the helm of news programs, we will have an understanding of, and maybe the tools to try to defeat, the ending of democracy. Removing trusted journalists who report the truth accurately is a gift to donald trump.

This is the funniest post I have ever seen are you trying to be funny? If people are dumb enough to believe that Trump is a felon than they are unsavable and believe anything they watch on MSNBC. After they have consistently lied to you for how long?
