Katie Pavilich's ratings with her Trump interview that was HEAVILY promoted...IT SUCKED BIG TIME! According to Nielsen Ratings she had the lowest ratings that night: 75,000 viewers! And in the 25-54 category only 10 000 viewers. Pitiful! Gutfield/Fox News had 2,300,000 viewers, Lawrence O'Donnell/MSNOW 1,230,000 viewers, Abby Phillip/CNN 680,000...even The Right Squad/Newsmax beat her 168,000 viewers! ***NOTEWORTHY: Pavilich said she plans to draw Fox News viewers to Newsnation...IT WAS WHY SHE WAS HIRED! Well...maybe Newsnation should change their slogan to "News for all right-wing Americans!"
Pavlich's ratings are in. Wow. She actually lost viewers. Even with the President and it being on Channel 9 too. The station is losing to Newsmax bigly. Fredo's show has to be the laziest show every put on tv. It's him bloviating for 20 minutes about how awful the media is. Every night. It will never grow an audience. How does it stay on?
Newsnation starts the year at a low point. Look above...for the week ending Sunday January 4th Newsnation was ranked 89th with 73,000 average viewers. Sooo bad! With their new right wing pundit additions it seems their "News for all Americans" slogan has been dumped by the wayside. Now it's "Welcome to Newsmax Lite...Newsnation!"
Katie Pavlich will make the ratings explode. sarcasm. It's so great that news nation claims to be non-partisan yet they hired Batya and Pavlich. 2 of the biggest MAGA people ever. Cuomo will quit this year and Pavlich will take over his spot. Pavlich gets to interview Trump on her second day at News Nation. That's a gut punch to all the other pundits there.
Nexstar/Tegna merger is a BAD IDEA! It will allow one entity (Nexstar) to control multiple news ops in each market. Look at how Nexstar operates Newsnation where it's an "everything done on the cheap" operation AND where Newsnation is now leaning right with its pundits. Bad idea bad idea bad idea.

End of year ratings came out and NO SURPRISE Newsnation LOST over 10,000 average daytime viewers and LOST 5,000 average viewers in the coveted 25-54 age demo. NN 7% gain came from 65yo+ viewers. It was not a good report card for Newsnation!

People will drop this station even quicker. She's beyond a MAGA person. What guests will she get that Fox and News Max haven't already had on. News Nation is a mess. Too bad. Not able to say here BUT Nexstar keeps the numbers bottled up for selective release. Growing from 1,000 to 3,000 may be a 200% increase but it's the law of diminishing returns. Newsnation has been on air almost 5 years now and has ONLY ONCE crossed the 200,000 weekly average viewership level (when they hosted the Presidential debate). Daytime numbers are pitiful. They do great covering UFO stories and Charlie Kirk tho (sarcasm) 😁
