NewsNation's numbers are FLATLINED since October 3rd 2022. Oh gee, it's the second anniversary of Chris Cuomo joining NN! And the numbers are STILL flat...and we're one month away from AN ELECTION! And NewsNation's numbers are still FLAT! And what is the problem...oh gee whiz willikers!
Looks like the low ratings are stressing the anchors and reporters out. They're all losing their hair! Thought maybe the changed makeup/hair staff or something but it's literally that they have half the hair they used to! Look at Ali Bradley - she has a legit bald spot developing on her crown, her part goes down the back of her head!
According to the Chicago Tribune, NewsNation/WGN was the home of "The Bozo Show". Enough said!
The question is how can this network pay its electric bills let alone the on air "talent." Chris Cuomo seems to be resigned to being a low rent Trump cheerleader at this point in time as does the rest of the staff. Nobody is watching 2nd rate talent on a 2nd rate news channel on legacy platforms.
Jeff Glor is leaving CBS Saturday Morning. Opportunity for Newsnation to shake up its lineup...particularly to dump Leland Vittert and revamp the lineup at 5, 6, and 7pm. Opportunity Nexstar...opportunity!
The highest rated program on Newsnation last week wasn't Cuomo Abrams or Banfield. It was PAC 12 Football on Saturday...91,000 viewers. That speaks volumes: NO ONES WATCHING NEWSNATION NEXSTAR! Don't you get it???
Actually that was the highest rated show for Saturday so Cuomo, Abrams, etc were not on that day. But you’re right , this networks ratings are a disaster
Cuomo had a dismal 160,000 viewers on Monday September 30...the most that day while Fox News nighttime pundits EACH had over 3 million viewers. MSNBC Rachel Maddow over 2 million viewers...CNN Anderson Cooper over 1 million viewers. What kind of a winning game plan does Nexstar have with this channel...it makes no sense. BTW...its Chris Cuomo's 2ND Anniversary (October 2022). Heads should roll on this failed venture. Hey Nexstar...how about turning Newsnation into a wrestling channel like you started on The CW?
No numbers summary last 2 weeks for News Nation. Only Cuomo and simulcast of ABC debate on Tuesday September 10th and that was 256,000 for each while every other network were each in the millions. No numbers for any time period or program as of Wednesday September 18th. This ship is sinking. What's going on Nexstar...we'd like to know!
The Chris Cuomo/ABC Presidential Debate night coverage was a complete flop! Only 250,000 viewers watched Newsnation compared to Newsmax 1,200,000 viewers. 4.1 million CNN. 6.2 million CBS. 9 million FOX News & 3 million Fox & 1.3 million FOX Business. 10.6 million NBC & 8 million MSNBC. 17 million ABC! I'm REALLY surprised Newsnation is still on the air. The writing is on the wall for Nexstar to pull the plug in 2025
I tried watching Newsnation but I can't get around Cuomo and Banfield and Viterit. Weekend and weekday reporting is weak when compared to CNN. CNN is top notch, classy, and CNN is on the mark especially when compared to Fox News which spews right wing views and pundits. I also dropped Newsnation when THEY dropped my favorite show: BLUE BLOODS. Boo and Hiss!
I increasingly watch NN but not cuomo. I've given him a good chance over the last 2 yrs and he stinks.
