Hoping News Nation succeeds. I've been tuning into it more and more. I know Fox News gets the highest viewership but for me it's only because they are soooo bias and really feed their right wing viewers to hate everything/anything that has to do with Democrats. For me it's hard to watch hosts who feel the need to hate/call others idiots, morons, clowns, etc. etc. just because they disagree with someone else's opinions--especially when it's a Democrat giving an opinion. CNN's Inside Politics with John King is the best. Seems he really does his research for the facts/truth before he reports anything to his audience. He knows how to report the news without pushing his opinions one way or the other. Liked Cuomo when he was on CNN and still like him now on News Nation. When saw Cuomo was having Bill O'reilly on his show weekly I wanted to tune out. Didn't like Bill O when he was on Fox News as he deemed himself a know-it-all--still does!. But I think News Nation is keeping it's promise to be 'unbias'. The fact that Cuomo and O'Reilly can now be at the same table giving their left or right wing opinions and in the end agree to disagree when necessary without trying to one up each other is a path to unbias reporting.

Very well written. Nice to see objective opinions rather than all this continued divisiveness. We live in a free country; if you don't want to watch a certain channel or host, then don't!!! I can tell you all day long that Newsnation is great, but if people aren't willing to be objective and see it, they won't, but that's their perogative!

I have to laugh at people clicking “dislike” to a comment about being objective as opposed to divisive. They are obviously part of the problem. 😃

Interesting how some comments on here about NewsNation are being deleted. They also delete YouTube comments that are not complimentary. A lot of perception management going on here, which leads me to believe you can't trust this network at all. There was one comment on here a few months ago about how some of their staff, like Ali Bradley and Adrienne Bankert, having been fired from previous networks for questionable behavior. Why is it that NewsNation doesn't want the truth out?

They don't want people to know that they were DESPERATE enough to hire people like Ali Bradley who was fired from NewsMax for being TOO FAR-RIGHT leaning and Adrienne Bankert was FIRED from GMA cause she HOOKED up with Everyone at GMA and other networks she's been.

Ali Bradley was fired from WTOL in Ohio for playing a distasteful cardgame with other employees, not fired from Newsmax. I'm personally interested in the NEWS being accurate, not judging the actions of each anchor's personal life.

Anchors lie, spin, distort the news to fit their personal beliefs. Or only report on "one side" of an issue to make it seem as though whatever their opinion is, is the correct one. A liar or an overly opinionated anchor typically also makes a mess of their personal lives and their career. So knowing who they are and where they came from, matters. Cuomo is a great example of this. Ali Bradley is another. Can't trust them one place, or another.

Jaime, she seems like telling truth about card game on ali bradley. Havent heard she got fired from newsmax.

Funny reading through the comments where half are saying how far right NewsNation is and half are saying how left it is. It's too bad viewership is so low.
Not sure if others know, but I've just downloaded the NewsNation TV app, which I didn't realize existed.

This sounds like someone who works there wrote it. Can't tell you how many times I have read their reporters claiming they must be unbiased because they upset people on both sides. Sorry, but that is a huge leap.

Oh my gosh, yes! Like those women who fight to tell themselves the only reason someone doesn't like them is because they are jealous. So funny.

Tried watching it when it first came out. But it was getting too biased. News for everyone is supposed to be news for everyone. The egos are a little high for a news show. When you brought Cuomo on...you lost any chance with me as a viewer. And the commercial where the guy calls in and praises Cuomo for giving truthful news really turns my stomach. So it's just another news show with their own agenda.

I don't understand why ratings are so low???? I rather appreciate the drama-free, less political news. I think their shows are getting better, so I don't get it. I hope more viewers give Newsnation a chance.

What I like about Newsnation is that the news isn't all political. They should highlight the fact that they do a lot more "actual news" from all over the country, not just news that has to do with politics which is the majority of news on the other cable news channels. I enjoy hearing about people and places around our country, and not always negative news. I really think if more people realized this they'd watch Newsnation.

Reading this reminded me how much we miss the original news team at night with Marni, John, Rob and Albert Ramon. Instead they gave in and changed from real news to a host like Cuomo. I watched him and Bill OReilly argue about morality last night and was disgusted. Why?? These are the last 2 people we should listen to lecture us on morals.

By the looks of it , NewsNation is attempting to take the use to be Trump News from Fox seeing they are now in the bag for the clown Trump clone in Florida and hope the can be the new Trump channel..They will go down just like OAN….We have enough cable news they got in the game years too late. Seems to me if they can get 200k plus on reruns of A cop show stick with it 24/7 no talent to pay and costly production.

Seems like there is a lot of turnover in staff. Where are Rudabeh Shahbazi and Paul Gerke?

Heard he got fired for too much questioning the mission on newsnation at meetings.
They show trump ralleys on saturday about 2 months ago and now they are not showing them. Hadnt heard too much about rudabeh shabazi, she was very good and not partisan , kind of like marni hughes telling straight up news. Seems like natasha zouves took her role

It's been 6 months since my last comment and where is News Nation in the ratings. It got a bump with the Fetterman-Oz debate but Cuomo's ratings crashed at the same time. Tremendous waste of money keeping NN on life support for 2 years now. Realizing that Blue Bloods is NN cash cow with 300,000 average viewing it seems that bringing back the old WGN America would be the smart thing to do. I put that idea out to the head honchos at Nextstar for your consideration.

Seems inevitable, doesn't it? They claim to go all news in the spring. Removing Blue Bloods will bring that average crashing down to embarrassing low numbers.

I like Marni Hughes. Shows intelligence and direct , focused questions. She deserves much bigger audience. Will not watch Cuomo- no brains, no talent. Banfield is Left they say, but not obvious to me. Abrams is sharp but I am not too interested in his subjects.

Marni is one of their best. She reports the news instead of trying to be the news and when she doesn't have anything constructive to say, she doesn't say anything at all. You can tell she isn't big on that new reporter, Ali Bradley, and why. Ali is about the opposite, including the visible cross necklace in most her reporting. She almost always lets her bias show and tries to cram so much into three minutes I tune her out.

I agree. Best anchors on this channel are the ones who weren't from other big networks. As much as the try to sell neutral news, the anchor opinions are still evident. I agree Banfield's left leaning views show through at times, as do others. She just appears tired to me and not as engaged as she used to be in the past. I still gave them a chance and watched, but once Cuomo was hired, I completely stopped watching. I get they're desperate for viewers, but hiring Cuomo might have turned away more viewers than brought them in.

Years ago, I viewed Fox News and CNN until CNN became cheerleaders for the Obama Adm.
I want balance without hate and smears AND CONSPIRACIES.
I want COMPREHENSIVE news .... International, National and Political as long as its centered.
I had no choice but to stop watching CNN PERMANENTLY when I realized they were
disrespecting and taunting Pres Trump right out of the gate.
Acosta is NOT a journalist and should've been fired.
I want a mix of perspectives -- I don't want just Fox News alone because they're
biased too have no alternatives on Cable. CNN has forever destroyed themselves (ie Russia conspiracy). FOREVER.
I am giving News Nation a chance. I get tired of Jesse Waters and watch Leland on Balance often but
turn off News Nation as soon as Cuomo begins. Ive given Cuomo a chance countless times and he's a Democ-RAT.
And I just don't like him anymore for many reasons.
Cuomo will cause NN to lose $$.
To sum it up ... why cant anyone deliver good personalities, contributors and centered political news ?
