98,000 avg viewers??? 3 years running??? Wowww, I think somebody needs to take control of this network, revamp the whole lineup and presentation or come up with a better idea to program this channel. IMO heads should roll!
Poor reporting of Super Tuesday results, AWFUL set design, LOUSY audio and visual broadcast. Seemed like a small market TV station nightly news report. Think Green Acres: Hooterville and Pixley's WPIXL! What a joke by a company that spent millions of dollars to go up against Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC. I cringe NewsNation. Yuck!
Millions and millions of dollars wasted by Nexstar...and Newsnation had the lowest Nielson ratings and viewership of all news outlets...only 186,000 viewers. Even Newsmax garnered over 550,000 viewers. Gee whiz guys: when is Nexstar gonna give up and bring back WGN America?
Must be the reason Nexstar is hiding Newsnation's March 5th Super Tuesday Nielsen ratings...low ratings embarrassment to reveal them. According to Deadline and Adweek 11.4 million viewers watched the results...led by FOX News with 3.5 million, ABC about 2 million, MSNBC 1.8 million, NBC 1.3 million, CBS 1.2 million, and CNN just under 1 million. No figures for Newsnation...indicating they were so low they didn't count them!
March 1st 2021...3 years later and Newsnation only averages 100,000 viewers a day. It's been a major flop! Bring back WGN America Perry Sook!
Jon Stewart showed up one night on The Daily Show Feb 12 and scored almost 1 million viewers Nielson ratings (a quarter million viewers 18-49 year olds). Meanwhile Chris Cuomo still only averages less than 150,000 viewers a night (and only 16,000 viewers 18-49 year olds) a year and a half on-air at News Nation. What's the excuse for his poor ratings and for News Nation overall? In March it will be THREE YEARS News Nation has been on the air- OMG!
I see Newsnation is still running BLUE BLOODS on weekends. Are they that reliant on BB's ratings they're afraid to go all-news in fear of a probable major ratings drop?
Why is FOX News allowing the Chinese-owned company Alibaba to run commercials on FOX News when it's hosts and programs are "anti-Chinese"? You think maybe NN can investigate?
With only 132,000 viewers watching the New Hampshire primary on NN it would seem the sharks are "circling the boat". Meanwhile CNN had 1,250,000 million viewers and Fox News 2,100,000 million...

that's actually not true. He is in the best timeslot possible and the articles you are referencing about this are over a year old from radical RW sources when he first started at the station. Perhaps do research from better / more current sources.
